Mrs. Angela (Kindergarten) has organized an assembly called NED’s Kindness Adventure! They will be visiting Howe next week, Tuesday Feb. 11th – Friday Feb. 14th. Students will have opportunities to shop items made by artisans in Kenya after school in the cafeteria. Purchases made through the Kindness Sale help fund artisans in Kenya and provide clean water for kids in Kenya. Look for a flier that came home today in your child’s folder.

Students will also enjoy an assembly on Tuesday, Feb. 11th @ 9:00am. Parents are welcome to attend as well! If you have any questions, you can email Mrs. Angela (carmana@dearbornschools.org)

Reminder – this Friday, January 31st is our movie night! We’re watching Trolls in the gym starting promptly at 6:00pm. Don’t forget to send in your RSVP, and bring a donation item for the local animal shelter. Can you bring an item with you for our concession table? Due to unforeseen circumstances with leadership, Lego club Session #1 needs to be postponed.  There will be no club meetings today or next week. Lego Club Session #1 will now begin on January 24th.  PTA will send home new calendar sheets for parent volunteers to sign up. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Our first PTA meeting is rescheduled to next Thursday, January 16th, at 3:45pm in the cafeteria! We will be discussing our movie night at the end of the month, and a special new program organized by Mrs. Angela. Hope to see you all there!
